Cathy Rankin’s entertainment career spans over 20 years in film, television, hosting, print, and music.

As a host, Cathy’s worked the red carpets for many events and shows, interviewing music, sports and entertainment celebrities such as Bob Costas, Chris Collinsworth, Pam Anderson, Jordin Sparks, David Foster, Terry Crews and more. She’s been a featured interviewer for multiple Superbowl events, Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night, and the Sports Emmy Awards where her Monday Night Football skit in which she co-starred with Leslie Nielsen, was also nominated for “Best Opening Promo.”

As a spokesperson, Cathy has interviewed a wide range of CEO’s, authors and entrepreneurs, contributing in front of the camera and behind the scenes on national corporate commercial and industrial projects which have generated over $300M dollars in sales revenue for her clients. She’s hosted and interviewed on numerous national and international broadcasts and television stations.

Regardless of genre, Cathy enjoys relating to both interview subjects and audiences with a down to earth style, humor, and most importantly, a sincere interest in learning about interesting people, while connecting to the heart and soul of their personalities. She is known for her easygoing, in-depth and personal interview style. Many of her interview subjects have commented that it was one of their most pleasant interview experiences, with well researched and unique questions.

Currently, Cathy regularly hosts and conducts interviews for a variety of shows and corporate projects with STAR Worldwide Networks, as well as other freelance clients. She is also Co-Host, along with Eddie Trunk, for the annual Metal Hall of Fame Awards Gala, Host of the annual Bubba Bash (in honor of Neil Peart) and is represented by the FORD agency.

When not working, Cathy is a devoted animal lover who enjoys spending time with her family (including a house full of rescue pets), traveling, and giving back to Military Veterans, which is a deeply personal commitment.
