What a Knockout! My new commercial for Knockout Energy Drink has just been released!

This was a fun shoot that I blogged about in a previous news item. Athough it was a bit frightening to have a closeup without makeup, I had a blast playing the nerdy girl with less than desireable looks and terrible hair – now you know what I REALLY look like away from the camera, LOL…at least I transform in the end

QVC appearances

November 2, 2010 — In the last few months I was honored to become certified as a host through QVC’s Guest Excellence Program in Philadelphia, PA. I will be featured in 3 upcoming live segments on QVC representing the Video Professor.

While at QVC headquarters, I got a behind the scenes tour and was amazed at the magnitude of their studios and production – the main control room looked like NASA The hosts and personnel at QVC are top notch, and I look forward to my trips back to Philly for the live tapings.

My first appearance is scheduled for November 16th, at 2am in the morning, so if you’re a night owl, check it out! Following appearances will not be as late I will post fun pictures from the set after my first appearance so check back here soon.

A real knockout

October 22 — Well, here’s a shoot that was just nothing but fun! I was cast as “The Knockout Girl” for a commercial for Knockout Energy Drink.

Not only did I get to work with three HOT guys, but I got to act and have fun with a top-notch production team, including Paul DeNegris and Steve Briscoe. I played a frumpy, nerdy girl who has an embarrassing moment with 3 “cool” guys, but redeems herself when she transforms into a total Knockout!

Of course, the transformation takes place when she discovers the Knockout Energy Drink, and a good revenge butt-kicking of the guys ensues…(and by the way, the other two knockout girls in the commercial were not only young, tall and supermodel beautiful, but they were amazingly sweet and kind to work with, too, life just isn’t fair)…I will post the actual commercial video on my site as soon as it is released in the next few weeks!

California, here I come!

Just had a blast filming a new commercial for Hyundai. Thanks to Arrowhead Advertising for a fun and easy shoot! The ad will air in California, where I often get to work and play. In fact, I just returned from another gig in L.A., and while there, I ate at Bazaar restaurant, the latest creation of famed Chef Jose Andres. Let me just say, it was the best food I’ve ever had, and the atmosphere was just as wonderful! Our waiter, Terence, was incredible, turns out he is a comedy writer on the side, and he had us laughing so much during dinner that I thought we might get kicked out - if you are ever in L.A. you have to try this place just once (google it!), it is AMAZING!

Here’s the final edit of a commercial I shot for Acura that aired in Dallas – I tried to convince the producers to let me have the car in exchange for all my hard work on set but they didn’t go for that idea, LOL…..Believe it or not it took 7 hours on set just to get the correct shot of me walking by the car, running my finger along the side and turning a darn knob! But at the end of the day it was fun to sink back in the leather seats and enjoy the fake wind in my hair I’m waiting for Ferrari to come calling, maybe those guys will give me a vehicle

January 22-25, 2009: LAS VEGAS!!!

I just got back from Sin City last week where I attended the Shot Show to promote my Colors of America calendar for the troops, as well as a poster I did for Accuracy International. The biggest Sin was that it was raining the whole time I was in Vegas, but we still had fun! Many thanks to all the great people that stopped by and donated to show support for my project! The show was full of the top dealers and manufacturers in weapons, and WOW, they were all so gracious to me while I was there! I shared laughs and a few beers with some pretty cool people, including the SWAT and Sniper guys from a certain police department that I will not name in case it gets them in trouble, LOL – Hey, at least I know that if anyone messes with me, I am now very well protected by my new friends Trust me, you don’t want to make these guys mad – they are TOUGH!!!!

Most importantly, I was able to donate more money to New England Warrior for the troops, and I officially SOLD OUT of my calendars!!! Sooooooooo, look for a new 2011 calendar coming soon – there will be a news story on it with all the details as soon as I can catch my breath from this crazy trip…

OK, don’t hold it against me, but one of the easiest targets to spoof as an actor is a news anchor. I admire and give much respect to the hard work they do in real life, but let’s face it, it is too irresistable to not indulge in having a little fun with the stereotypical image that they often live up to quite accurately

So, in this viral video on YouTube, you will see me playing yet another bitter, 30-something female newscaster who has had innapropriate relations with her co-anchor and is bitter about being stuck in a small-town news station when she’d rather be a national star, lol!

The video was produced for “Simply Slender” a new health/diet product that is based on the famous Master Cleanse used by many of today’s top celebrities and health enthusiasts…see if you notice the nasty comment my character makes in the heat of the argument, you might have to play it a few times to hear it, as it is said while we are both yelling

Dewars Whiskey just completed a new ad campaign that will hit YouTube and the Dewars website this spring.

In this video, I had the best time playing a somewhat bitter, shallow news anchor who almost loses her cool on air. What fun it was to run wild with the part, and I’m sure you’ll recognize a little bit of your favorite news anchors in there
